1. Last Tuesday, Karen took the whole evening to show us How we can stage a “home” for sale (in opposition to a “house” to buy). How much furniture? When to start Staging? Master bedroom # of pillows? Pets, smoke, smells will cost you $? Satin or high Gloss polyurethane? Granite? Uba Tuba? 55+ how much and which furniture? Where to buy the most Effective paint colors. Type of carpet? Wainscoting, Crown or both moldings? Chrome, Brushed stainless or Bronze? This was one of THE most interactive meetings we’ve had and Karen was happy to provide her Guide to Staging to everyone who attended. Thanks also to Henry who hung out with Jay Jay so Karen could show us How-To Stage our own projects for 17% higher prices and half the Days on Market or even Hire her for her Expertise!
2. Which brings me to our next main meeting. There is more information on almost any topic than anyone could read in their entire lifetime. So how do we implement that knowledge. I believe the solution is to Attend our meetings, networking. This month 2/28/12 and the All-day 3/3/12 Robyn Thompson the Queen of Rehab will show us How to Buy, Fix-up and Sell property for a profit. Can you find all the information elsewhere? Yes. Can you determine what works and what to avoid elsewhere? I don’t think so. In our meeting room you’ll find Investors at every level from Beginners to Real Estate pros. And ranging from those just starting to make offers to pros closing on finished projects for a high profit. That’s why Networking with each other is so important especially with a Successful Investor to guide us! In addition there must be 10 projects that members have going where you could stop by and check them out but make sure you wear some old clothes you may get stuck helping out.
