Last night I read a request on whether or not Malden was a good area to invest in (from Kimberly Dawson). The responses were typical seat of the pants ranging from: it’s the “Worst commute into Boston” from Boston magazine to “I had a friend who moved out of there, I’ll ask them”. My response wasn’t much better…
We’ve been analyzing areas several ways from Inventory in Months, to an Affordability index I started – Median Town Income to Median House Price. It’s very important to use these tools correctly with your type and time frames of investing. We’ll spend a little time on this and if you’ve got an area you’d like to analyze, you can send it to me now for this evening.
